Para el 7º día de escapada, tocaba alejarse ya de la Cote d'azur (Costa azul), pero seguimos en la antigua Provenza, subimos hacia el norte, donde sabíamos (y buscábamos) que se encontraba Las Garganta del río Verdón, que nace a unos 2500 metros de altitud en los Alpes de la Alta Provenza, con una longitud de 172km.
La ruta para disfrutar de las gargantas tiene 23km de largo. Nosotros partimos desde Moustiers de Sainte-Marie (un pueblo ubicado en la zona), que nos aconsejaron realizarla en coche si no disponíamos de mucho tiempo, así que la realizamos sobre 4 ruedas, parándonos (y mucho) en las zonas que más nos llamaban la atención o desde donde se podían disfrutar las magníficas vistas que ofrece éste paraje.
For the 7th day break, playing away and the Cote d'Azur (blue coast), but still in the old Provence, climbed acia north, we knew (and looking for) that was The Gorge Verdon River, which rises about 2500 meters altitude in the Alps of Haute Provence, with a length of 172km.
The route to enjoy the gorges is 23km long. We start from Moustiers Sainte-Marie (a town in the area), who advised done by car if we did not have much time, so we carry on 4 wheels, stopping (much) in the areas that we called attention or where you could enjoy the magnificent views from this spot.
Desde luego, ha sido la carretera que más hemos disfrutado en coche, sólo hay que ver por que sitios conducíamos, y las cosas que nos íbamos encontrando para comprenderlo... SIMPLEMENTE EXPECTACULAR!
Since then, it has been the most enjoyable road we drive, just look for sites that we drove, and the things we were finding us to understand ... SIMPLY SPECTACULAR!
Se podía realizar rutas andando, en bici incluso en kayak si se decidia ir rio a través. Nosotros optamos, por ponernos el bañador enseñando un poco el culo en el proceso y disfrutar de un chapuzón inolvidable (eso sí, el agua NO estaba caliente)
You could make walking routes, bicycle kayak even if I decided to go across the river. We opted for the suit teaching ourselves a little ass in the process and enjoy an unforgettable swim (yes, the water was NOT hot)

Aiiii que recuerdos! Se acabaron los baños en agua salada y dulce hasta el próximo año... Pero las ganas de que llegue nos ayuda a seguir durante el duro invierno Vasco (más conocido como Invernalia) hasta que llegue de nuevo el Verano.
Sólo me queda recomendar la escapada si visitáis Niza (1h y 45 min).

Aiii to memories! Baths in salt and fresh water until next year ... But looking forward to help us continue during the harsh winter Vasco (aka Winterfell) until you come again Summer is over.
